Welcome to Tina's Apocalyptic Dark Art Site....

Apocalypse:  When something takes over another thing.

One need only to look at our world today to see the many ways we are destroying it.  The notion of apocalypse are hardly new cocerns,  but seems to be gaining more believers because of the state of the world today.

My photos deal with the end of civilization on earth and the aftermath, with special focus on animals.  Why animals?  Because they are an integral part of our society, and deserve the most recognition.

My surreal photography is created traditionally in the darkroom with no digital manipulation.   Very old school.    HOPE YOU ENJOY!

My intense love of animals and my ongoing participation in GREAT (greyhound rescue), DART (Disaster Animal Response Team), hurricanes Charlie and Katrina, and just living on this planet have had a profound impact on my perception and outlook on humanity as it relates to animals and the environment.

Through my photography I aim to stimulate one's vision and curiosity by creating a thought provoking and surreal world to experience. My photos speak of futures that have been ravaged by nuclear war and pollution, but many images are meant to banish any myths or concepts of man's relationship to animals, or lack of.
